The OSV II Low Pro valve is a variable resistance valve which maintains a drainage rate close to the CSF secretion rate. It is supplied with a ventricular catheter, right angle guide and connectors, as well as a peritoneal catheter that is supplied either unitised to the valve or to be attached to the valve by the user. The OSV II Low Pro Valve system is a low profile implantable valve system intended for controlled cerebrospinal fluid drainage from the ventricles to the peritoneal cavity or other drainage site such as the heart's right atrium; it is indicated for hydrocephalus.
