WHAT NEO DECA IS USED FOR
Neo Deca is used to treat allergic
and inflammation of the eyes and
ears
where
there
is
bacterial
infection.
Your doctor may have prescribed
Neo Deca for another reason. Ask
your
doctor
if
you
have
any
questions
about
why
Neo
Deca
has been prescribed for you.
HOW NEO DECA WORKS
Neo
Deca
contains
the
active
ingredients,
neomycin
and
dexamethasone
phosphate.
Neomycin is an antibiotic which
helps to treat the infections.
Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid
which
helps
to
relieve
inflammation and redness in the
eyes.
BEFORE YOU USE NEO DECA

_When you must not use it_
You must not use Neo Deca if
you
have
allergic
reactions
to
neomycin
and
dexamethasone
phosphate
or
to
any
of
the
ingredients listed at the end of this
leaflet.
Do not use this medicine if you
have
•
viral infection in the eye or ear
•
fungal infection in the eye or
ear
Do not use Neo Deca after the
expiry date printed on the pack. If
you use this
medicine after the
expiry date has passed, it may not
work as well.
Do
not
use
Neo
Deca
if
the
packaging is torn or shows signs
of tampering.
_Pregnancy and lactation _
Do not take Neo Deca if you are
pregnant, trying to get pregnant or
think you may be pregnant.
Do not take Neo Deca if you are
breast-feeding.
Ask
your
doctor
or pharmacist
for advice before
taking any medicine.
