The Rapicide® PA High-Level Disinfectant & Sterilant is a concentrated sterilizing solution, containing peracetic acid as its main active ingredient, intended for use with an automated endoscope reprocessing system for the sterilization of endoscopes. Rapicide PA should be used under the following conditions: contact time of 5 minutes at 30°C at minimum recommended concentration of 850 ppm peracetic acid (for high level disinfection), and contact time of 10 minutes at 40°C at minimum recommended concentration of 1700 ppm peracetic acid (for sterilization use).
