GLUCIENT XR 750: Carmellose sodium 2000, hypromellose 100M, purified water, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate. GLUCIENT XR 1000: Carmellose sodium 2000, hypromellose 100M, purified water, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS: GLUCIENT XR 500: White tablet, round shallow, diameter 12 mm, with marking “XR” on one side and without marking on the other side. GLUCIENT XR 750: White tablet, shallow convex, dimension 20 x 9 mm, with marking “SR1” on one side and without marking on the other side. GLUCIENT XR 1000: White tablet, shallow convex, dimension 22.25 x 9 mm, with marking “SR2” on one side and without marking on the other side. PHARMACOLOGY: ATC CODE: A10BA02 Metformin is a biguanide with antihyperglycemic effects, lowering both basal and postprandial plasma glucose. It does not stimulate insulin secretion and therefore does not produce hypoglycemia.
