EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine ameliorates feelings of melancholy and depression by
inhibiting serotonin
reuptake in the brain.
It is usually used to treat depression/depressive states,
obsessive-compulsive disorder, and
social anxiety disorder in adults, and to treat obsessive-compulsive
disorder in children.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
