CHE COS’E’ CANDESARTAN RATIOPHARM E A CHE COSA SERVE
Il nome del medicinale è Candesartan ratiopharm. Il principio attivo
è candesartan cilexetil.
Appartiene a un gruppo di medicinali chiamati antagonisti del
recettore dell’angiotensina II. Agisce
provocando il rilassamentoe la dilatazione dei vasi sanguigni. Questo
aiuta a ridurre la pressione
sanguigna. Inoltre fa in modo che il cuore pompi il sangue più
facilmente in tutto l’organismo.
Questo medicinale è usato per:
•
trattare la pressione sanguigna alta (ipertensione) in pazienti adulti
•
trattare lo scompenso cardiaco in pazienti adulti con ridotta funzione
del muscolo cardiaco, in
aggiunta agli inibitori dell’Enzima di Conversione
dell’Angiotensina (ACE) o quando gli
ACEinibitori non possono essere usati (gli ACE-inibitori sono un
gruppo di medicinali usati
per trattare lo scompenso cardiaco).

colore bianco, biconvesse, con una
linea di frattura su un lato e la stampa C4 sullo stesso lato.
Candesartan ratiopharm 8 mg compresse si presenta in compresse di
colore bianco, biconvesse, con una
linea di frattura su un lato e la stampa C8 sullo stesso lato.
Candesartan ratiopharm 16 mg compresse si presenta in compresse di
colore bianco, biconvesse, con una
linea di frattura su un lato e la stampa C16 sullo stesso lato.
Candesartan ratiopharm 32 mg compresse si presenta in compresse di
colore bianco, biconvesse, con una
linea di frattura su un lato e la stampa C32 sullo stesso lato.
Le compresse possono essere divise in due metà uguali.

INDICAZIONI TERAPEUTICHE
Candesartan ratiopharm è indicato per
•
Trattamento dell’ipertensione essenziale negli adulti.
•
Trattamento dei pazienti adulti con scompenso cardiaco e alterata
funzione sistolica ventricolare
sinistra (frazione di eiezione ventricolare sinistra ≤ 40%) in
aggiunta al trattamento con inibitori
dell’Enzima di Conversione dell’
