PER81201 Permit Version 1 Page 1 of 3 PERMIT TO ALLOW MINOR USE OF AN AGVET CHEMICAL PRODUCT FOR THE CONTROL OF HELICOVERPA SPECIES (HELIOTHIS) IN CHIA PERMIT NUMBER – PER81201 This permit is issued to the Permit Holder in response to an application granted by the APVMA under section 112 of the Agvet Codes of the jurisdictions set out below. This permit allows a person, as stipulated below, to use the product in the manner specified in this permit in the designated jurisdictions. This permit also allows any person to claim that the product can be used in the manner specified in this permit. PER81201 Permit Version 1 Page 2 of 3 CONDITIONS OF USE PRODUCT TO BE USED: DUPONT MARLIN INSECTICIDE PLUS OTHER REGISTERED PRODUCTS Containing: 225 g/L METHOMYL as their only active constituent. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: CROP INSECT PEST RATE CHIA (_Salvia hispanica_) Heliothis (_Helicoverpa _spp.) Apply spray treatment to eggs and small larvae _Ground-based Application:_ 1.5 – 2 L product / ha Applied in Spray Volume: 50 - 300 L / ha _Aerial Application:_ 1.5 – 2 L product / ha Applied in Spray Volume: 30 L / ha CRITICAL USE COMMENTS: Close crop inspection is fundamental to successful Heliothis control. Closely monitor Heliothis populations [check every 3 to 5 days] and time foliar spray application to coincide with egg hatch and when crop is highly susceptible to pest damage. Apply using ground-based boom spray equipment or by aerial application. Apply after the emergence of seedling [5 – 8 DAP] and continuing up to flowering [58 – 64 DAP] , or just prior to maturity/senescence [90 – 103 DAP] .
