The Grieshaber Sclerotomy Adapters DSP are used in ophthalmic surgery as part of an entry system to the posterior chamber, similar to a trocar cannula. If the incision has to be extended, the Sclerotomy Adapter allows continuing the case with the initial gauge size instruments by reducing the port size.
