ActivHeal® Silicone Wound Contact Layer Dressing is indicated for use on nil to heavily exuding chronic and acute wounds, with an appropriate secondary dressing. The dressing may be used throughout the healing process on skin tears, surgical incisions, partial thickness burns, partial thickness skin grafts, pressure ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers. ActivHeal® Silicone Wound Contact Layer Dressing is a primary dressing, designed to be used with a secondary dressing. If exudate is present, an absorbent secondary dressing that is appropriate for the exudate level is required. ActivHeal® Silicone Wound Contact Layer Dressing is suitable for use under compression bandaging.
