Active Constituent:
200 mg/mL Phenylbutazone Sodium (equivalent to 186 mg/mL
phenylbutazone base)

DOSAGE:
HORSES: 2-4 mL/100kg bodyweight IV
DOGS: 1mL/5kg bodyweight IV to a maximum of 8mL daily.
Repeat dose daily for a maximum of 5 days.
IT IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT THAT THIS PRODUCT IS NOT USED IN ANY ANIMAL
PRODUCING OR INTENDED TO PRODUCE
FOOD FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
Nabudone-P is for IV use only as it is very irritating to tissue.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Occasionally there is a decrease in serum protein and an increase in
the albumin/globulin ratio. In
the event of inappentence, gastro-intestinal irritation, oedema or
oral ulceration, discontinue
treatment.
Toxic effects may occur on resuming medication after an interval of
two weeks of more suggesting
sensitisation; nausea or diarrhoea may occur.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Hypertension; hepatic, cardiac or renal dysfunction, ulceration of the
GI tract, blood dyscrasias. Care
should be taken if administering other medications as phenylbutazone
is highly bound to plasma
protein and may displace other highly bound drugs. Use with caution if
animal has a history or drug

incidence of hypoproteinaemia
and GI ulceration. Do not use in cats, as phenylbutazone is toxic to
