WHAT KETOVID CREAM IS USED FOR
Ketovid Cream is used for fungal and yeast
infections of the skin.
HOW KETOVID CREAM WORKS
Ketovid Cream contains ketoconazole, an
antifungal
which
works
by
killing
the
fungus that causes the infection.

USE

_When you must not use it _
Do not use Ketovid Cream if you are
allergic
to
ketoconazole
or
any
other
ingredients
of
this
medicine
(listed
in
Product Description).

_Before you start to use it _

_Pregnancy and lactation _
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist
if
you
are
pregnant,
planning
for
pregnancy or breast-feeding before using
any medicine.

_Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor if you are taking any other
medicines, including any that you buy
without a prescription from a pharmacy,
supermarket or health food shop.
Skin
irritation
might
occur
if
Ketovid
Cream is used after prolonged used of
topical steroids. Apply topical steroids in
the
morning
and
ketoconazole
in
the
evening
and
slowly
withdraw
topical
steroids over a period of 2-3 weeks.
HOW TO USE KETOVID CREAM

Follow all directions given to you by your
doctor
and
pharmacist
carefully.
They
may differ from the information contained
in this leaflet. If you do not understand the
instructions on the label, ask your doctor
or pharmacist for help.

Apply once or twice daily or as directed by
your doctor.
Maintenance
therapy
for
seborrheic
dermatitis (skin infection that affect scalp):
Apply once or twice weekly.

Use Ketovid Cream for the duration as
your
doctor
recommends
and
continue
using the cream without interrupt
