DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
RESTRAINTS:
Not to be used in food producing birds.
Seek veterinary advice if psittacosis _(Chlamydia psittici) _is
suspected or if
birds do not respond to treatment within 5 days.
Remove calcium sources during medication.
ORNAMENTAL CAGE BIRDS: For the treatment of chronic Respiratory
Disease
and Bacterial Enteritis, dissolve 5g (1 measure)/litre drinking water.
Continue
treatment for 3-5 days. Make fresh solutions daily. Remove all other
sources of water
until the medicated water has been consumed.
100mL of prepared solution will treat approximately 20 small birds
(Canaries,
Finches, Budgerigars) or 4 large birds (Parrots, Cockatoos) for one
day.

FIRST AID: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons
Information Centre. If
swallowed, and if more than 15 minutes from a hospital, induce
vomiting, preferably
using Ipecac Syrup APF.
DISPOSAL: Dispose of empty container by wrapping with paper and
putting in
garbage. Medicated solutions which have not been consumed within 24
hours of
preparation should be placed in direct sunlight and allowed to
evaporate. Dispose of
dry residue by wrapping with paper and putting in garbage.

INHALATION
SHORT TERM EXPOSURE:
Long term inhalation of high amounts of any nuisance dust may overload
lung clearance
mechanism. Available data indicates that this product is not harmful.
However product may be mildly irritating,
although unlikely to cause anything more than mild transient
discomfort.
