Genesis Ultra Pour On contains 5 g/L abamectin and 300 g/L
triclabendazole. Genesis
Ultra Pour On contains a combination of two actives, abamectin, a
member of the
macrocyclic lactones, and triclabendazole, a member of the
benzimidazole family. It is
effective against internal parasites sensitive to either family and
has persistent activity
for at least 14 days against _Ostertagia _spp_._
For the treatment and control of the following mature and immature
internal roundworms
in cattle: (*includes inhibited L4) _Haemonchus _spp.*, _Ostertagia
_spp_._*, _Cooperia _spp.*,_ _
_Trichostrongylus_ spp., mature_ Oesophagostomum _spp.,_ Nematodirus
_spp.,_ Capillaria _
spp.,_ Trichuris _sp.,_ Chabertia _spp., and _Dictyocaulus _spp.
Genesis Ultra Pour On is also
effective in the treatment and control of immature and mature liver
fluke (_Fasciola _
_hepatica_), and both biting lice (_Damalinia bovis_) and sucking lice
(_Linognathus vituli_) in
cattle.
Resistance may develop to any anthelmintic. It is advisable that a
resistance test be
conducted regularly when using any parasite treatment. Ask your local
veterinary
practitioner or animal health adviser for recommended parasite
management practices
for your area to reduce development of resistance.
