What Candid-B is used for
CANDID-B Cream can be of benefit in
the fungal infections of the skin,
particularly when accompanied by
eczematous features.
How Candid-B works
CANDID-B Cream is a combination of
Clotrimazole and Beclometasone
Dipropionate.
Clotrimazole is an imidazole antifungal
agent and is effective against a wide
variety of fungi. Clotrimazole is believed
to exert its activity on the cell membrane
of the fungus.
Beclometasone Dipropionate is a
synthetic glucocorticoid and is used by
topical application for the treatment of
various dermatoses. The topical
application of Beclomatasone
Dipropionate produces dramatic
suppression of dermatoses by potent and
rapid anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic,
anti-allergic, anti-proliferative and vaso-
constrictive actions.
Before you use Candid-B

When you must not use it
Do not use this product if you are
allergic to any excipients of this
product.
Do not use this product if you are
having tuberculosis of the skin, herpes
simplex, chicken pox, measles,
vaccinia, syphilitic skin lesions.
Do not used in large amounts of
Candid-B for long periods of time if
you are pregnant.

you buy without a prescription from a
pharmacy, supermarket or health food

generally 2 to 3 times daily. Follow all
