Other Limitations: Withholding Periods: Not required when used as directed Trade Advice: RLP APPROVED General Instructions: Preparation for Fogging • Treat only dry fruit as received from the field. • Apply to fruit within 15 days after harvesting, prior to placing in storage. • In case of prolonged storage (more than 4 months) or particularly high danger of scald due to climatological conditions, a second treatment may be required between the second and third months of storage. This second treatment must be applied at a rate of between 50% and 100% of the initial dosage, depending on the importance of the danger and the length of further storage. A second treatment of 100% of the first dose is recommended for any additional storage of 3 months or longer. • Before treatment, protect fruit in bins at the top of each stack with plastic liners, cardboard or Kraft paper sheets. Also protect fruit directly in front of the fogging equipment with liners or sheets from top to bottom. • When treating rooms that are less than 75% full, calculate the dosage of ecoFOG-170 DPA by adding a tonnage value of 20% of the empty volume to the real tonnage of the fruit.
