EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine controls abnormal contraction of bladder smooth muscle
by anticholinergic and
calcium antagonistic activities, and increases bladder capacity.
It is usually used to treat urinary frequency/urinary incontinence
associated with neurogenic
bladder, neurogenic urinary frequency, unstable bladder, bladder
irritation (chronic cystitis,
chronic prostatitis), and urinary urgency/urinary frequency and urge
incontinence associated
with overactive bladder.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have: constipation, stomach/intestinal atony (you have a weak
stomach), slow urine
flow, angle closure glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, heart disease,
arrhythmia, liver damage,
renal damage, Parkinsonian symptom, cerebrovascular damage, ulcerative
colitis, or
hyperthyroidism.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)
