DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
PRECAUTION
This product is not for use other than for artificial insemination of
gilts and sows. Any
variation by the prescribing veterinarian to the approved dose,
frequency, duration, route,
disease or target species may require extending the approved
withholding period.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Dissolve in sterile distilled water at 30-35
o
C at the rate of 47g powder to 1 litre water. Bring
diluent to the same temperature (±1
o
C) as that of the freshly collected boar semen and use
to dilute at a rate of 1:3 to 1:10 according to quality and density of
the ejaculate. Prepare
insemination doses of 80-95mL. Inseminate gilts or sows up to a
maximum of 3 times,
according to farm policy. Diluted semen doses should be stored and
shipped at 17
o
C
(±1
o
C), and used within 7 days. Rewarming of the diluted semen prior to
insemination is not
recommended.
WITHHOLDING PERIOD: MEAT: DO NOT USE LESS THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE SLAUGHTER
FOR
HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
