STATEMENT OF HAZARDOUS NATURE
This product is classified as hazardous according to the criteria of

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION & COLOUR: White powdered solid.
ODOUR: No detectable odour
MAJOR HEALTH HAZARDS: No significant risk factors have been found for
this product. The talc used in this
product contains no asbestos fibre. Dust of non fibrous talc,
consisting entirely of platiform talc crystals and
containing no asbestos poses a relatively small respiratory hazard.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
INHALATION: No inhalation hazards incidental to normal handling
operations are anticipated from this
product when used at room temperatures.
SKIN CONTACT: This product is irritating to skin and may cause
sensitisation.
EYE CONTACT: This product is irritating to the eyes. It will cause
discomfort such as stinging pain, watering
and redness of the eyes. Effects may last after exposure has ceased,
and in severe exposure, long lasting
or even permanent effects such as corneal damage can occur.
INGESTION:

anticipated from swallowing
small amounts incidental to normal handling operations.
