Manual ophthalmic surgical instruments used by surgeons to remove fluids in the posterior chamber during ophthalmic surgical procedures. They consist of a blunt stainless steel hypodermic tubing cannula with a silastic tubing affixed at the distal end, attached to a Luer Taper plastic hub at the proximal end, which may be attached to devices having a 6% male (Luer) taper conical fitting. They are transient, single use devices, which are packaged in a Tyvek and PETG sterile barrier blister package and terminally sterilized.
