P60.02 CONTENTS 20 LITRES {Insert bar code here} BN: DOM: Manufactured by WATTYL Australia Pty Ltd, 4 Steel Street, Blacktown, NSW 2148 APPROVED LABEL Info PEST Verified DIRECTIONS FOR USE: The success of an antifouling job depends on the dry film build applied, which has a direct effect on the life expectancy. Irrespective of how this product is applied, it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that the total nominated film thickness is achieved. Depending upon method of application and prevailing conditions multiple coats may be necessary. The preferred method of application is by spray. APPLICATION: Ensure surface is dry and free from any contamination and sufficiently roughened if necessary. Substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above dew point. Each coat may be applied at 75 microns dry film (150 microns wet film) and usually 2 coats are required to protect the vessel during a 12 - 24 month period. (Spray application only - brush and roller coats are thinner and the number of coats adjusted to account for thinner coats) METHOD OF APPLICATION: Spray gun (use respiratory protection), brush or roller. STIR WELL BEFORE AND DURING USE. Use over a suitable high-performance anti-corrosive coating such as the Wattyl recommended coal-tar epoxy, epoxy, chlorinated rubber, or vinyl tar. LAUNCHING: Allow a minimum of 10 hours (at 20°C) after the last coat of paint prior to launching. Check data sheet for drying times at higher dry film thickness and less favourable weather conditions. Treated surfaces must be immersed within 30 days of application of this antifouling.
