ANTIBIOTIC
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Lincomycin (as lincomycin hydrochloride)………………………110

INDICATIONS:
1) To reduce the severity of Mycoplasma Pneumonia in growing swine.
2) For the treatment of Swine Dysentery (Bloody Scours) associated
with
_Brachyspira (Serpulina) _
_hyodysenteriae_
in growing swine, and for the control of disease following treatment.
3) As an aid in reducing the clinical severity of Porcine
Proliferative Enteropathy (Ileitis) associated with
_Lawsonia intracellularis_
.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
_To reduce the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain
effectiveness, use this _
_antibiotic prudently and for the shortest duration required to
achieve the desired clinical outcome._
1) FOR MYCOPLASMA PNEUMONIA: TO REDUCE THE SEVERITY OF MYCOPLASMA
PNEUMONIA IN
GROWING SWINE.
Complete feeds containing lincomycin base at 220 grams per tonne (220
mg/kg) of complete
feed, should be fed to growing swine as the sole ration for 21 days.
MIXING DIRECTIONS:
_To make medicated complete feeds_ - Add 2 kg of LINCOMYCIN 110 G
premix to each metric
tonne (1000 kg) of complete feed. The resultant feed will contain 220
g lincomycin base per tonne
(1000 kg).
_For supplements designed to be incorporated in complete feed_ - Add
the amount of
LINCOMYCIN 110 G premix listed in the following table to the
supplement to prepare a
medicated supplement.
