WHAT IS EUCARBON HERBAL USED FOR
Traditionally used for the relief of
constipation, relief abdominal pain
and flatulence.
HOW EUCARBON HERBAL WORKS

BEFORE YOU USE EUCARBON
HERBAL
When you must not use it
•
If you are allergic (hypersensitive)
to senna leaves, rhubarb extract,
charcoal or any other ingredients of
Eucarbon Herbal.
•
If you have:

Intestinal obstruction
-
Intestinal inflammation
-
Unidentifed abdominal pain
-
Severe disorder of the water and
mineral balance
-
Suspected gastric or intestinal ulcer
-
Appendicitis
Medical attention must be sought if
you suffer from any of the above
disorders.
Do not use in children under the age
of 12 years.
Before you start to use it
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for
advice before taking any medicine.
Do not use Eucarbon herbal during
pregnancy and breast feeding.
One tablet contains 65 mg sugar
(saccharose) and can be taken by
diabetics. If you suffer from a
known sugar intolerance, contact
your doctor before taking Eucarbon
Herbal.
Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if
you are taking or have recently taken
any other medicines, including
medicines obtained without a
prescription.
If you take heart medicines: In case of
increased hypokalemia (low potassium
in the blood) the effect of certain
medicines (cardiac glycosides) may
increase.
HOW TO USE EUCARBON HERBAL
How much to use
Adult and adolescent from 12 years:
2 tablets 2 times a day during or after
meals with som

Dosage:
Adults and adolescent above 12 years old:
2 tablets, 2 times a day, during or after meals with some liquid.
Indication: Traditionally used for the relief of constipation, relieve
abdominal pain
and flatulence.
Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to any of the product ingredients.
In case of
suspected stomach or intestinal ulcers, appendicitis and intestinal
obstruction, any
kind of laxative is to be avoided. Contraindicated in pregnant and
breastfeeding
women. Children under the age of 12 years.
Side Effects: Unknown
Pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding
women.
Symptoms and Signs of Overdose: Overdose may lead to diarrhoea and as
such,
treatment should consist of supportive and symptomatic measures,
including
correcting of any fluid or electrolyte imbalance.
Warnings and Precautions: Overdoses of laxative may upset the water
and
electrolyte balance so that for instance the tolerance of digitalis
compounds may be
lessened. This is a traditional preparation. Please consult your
pharmacist/doctor if
symptoms persist or worsen. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or
vomiting
is present. Frequent or prolonged use of this preparation may result
in dependence
towards the product and ‘imbalanced electrolytes’. Please consult
a health care
practitioner for use beyond 7 days.

Product description: Greyish black, cylindrical, biconvex tablet,
diameter: 11.6mm,
thickness approx: 5.6mm. Slight characteristics smell of peppermint
and fennel oil.
Keep in a cool and dry place. Store below 30°C. Protect from light
and moisture.
