PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Brown syrup, sweet taste with prune and menthol flavour.
COMPOSITION:
Each 5ml contains:
Guaiphenesin BP
50mg
Ammonium Chloride BP
80mg
Ephedrine HCl BP
4mg
Excipients:
Menthol Crystal, Peppermint Oil, Sucrose Crystal, Glycerol, Sodium
Saccharin,
Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Alcohol 96%, Xanthan Gum, Prune HC
3995,
Propylene Glycol, Liquid Caramel SRC3212, Purified water.
INDICATIONS:
This preparation is indicated for cough. Guaiphenesin and Ammonium
Chloride
to ease coughing out the phlegm. Ephedrine to improve nasal
congestion.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:
Orally administered.
Adults :
2 teaspoonfuls 3 to 4 times a day.
Children :
7 -12 years : 1 teaspoonful 3 to 4 times a day.
2 - 6 years : ½ teaspoonful 3 to 4 times a day.
SIDE EFFECTS:
May cause restlessness and insomnia.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
In patients with MAO inhibitor therapy.
CAUTION:
In patients with hypertension, hyperthyroidism and coronary disease.
STORAGE:
Store below 30°C and protect from light.
PACK SIZE:
100ml glass bottle with aluminium cap.
