DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Pool Protector Algaecide CopperQuat must be used
with a registered sanitiser when the pool is used
for bathing.
Copper concentration in the swimming pool must not exceed 1 mg/L.
NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE, OR IN ANY MANNER, CONTRARY TO THIS
LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED UNDER APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION.
CAUTION: Excessive copper concentrations may stain hair and swim wear
as well as discolour pool surfaces.
Not to be used as a food container.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: If a salt chlorinator is used, cease operation
for at least 24 hours prior to adding Pool Protector Algaecide
CopperQuat. Chlorination of the pool water should cease 24 hours prior
to adding Pool Protector Algaecide CopperQuat to reduce the
chlorine level in the water to zero. DO NOT add chlorinating compounds
or any alkaline material for 24 hours after adding Pool Protector
Algaecide CopperQuat. Copper in water acts as a catalyst to reduce the
activity of chlorine.

Adjust to pH reading to between 7.2 and 7.6
•
Ensure the filtration system is operational for at least 2 to 3 hours
during and after treatment.
•
It is important to clean and vacuum the pool the next morning after
treatment to remove dead algae.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in the closed, original container in a
cool, dry place out of the reach of children. Do not store in direct
sunlight. Dispose of empty container by wrapping in paper, placing in
plastic bag and putting in garbage.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Will damage eyes. Will irritate the skin. Avoid
