WHAT LAXSTOO IS USED FOR
LAXSTOO is indicated for relief of
occasional constipation.
HOW LAXSTOO WORKS
Magnesium Hydroxide in
LAXSTOO works by drawing
water into the intestines, an effect
that helps to cause movement of the
intestines.
Ask your pharmacist or doctor if
you have any questions about this
medicine.
BEFORE YOU USE LAXSTOO
_-When you must not use it _

Do not take LAXSTOO if you are:
•
Individuals with impaired
kidney function
•
Having abdominal pain, nausea,
vomiting, change in bowel
habits
lasting more than two
weeks
•
having magnesium restricted
diet, using a laxative for more
than one week or rectal
bleeding
•
Individuals with a history of
hypersensitivity to Magnesium
Hydroxide or other components
of the product.

Pregnancy and breast feeding:
Use during pregnancy and lactation
should be avoided unless on the
advice of a doctor. Ask your doctor
or pharmacist for advice before
taking any medicine.

Tell your doctor if you are taking
any other medicines, including any
that you buy without a prescription
from a pharmacy, supermarket or
health food shop. Interactions can
be minimised by giving
Magnesium Hydroxide and any
other med
