PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The finished product is a yellowish color powder.
TARGET SPECIES
Non-laying chickens
PHARMACODYNAMIC
Potentiated
sulphonamide
antibiotic,
the
dihydrofolate
reductase
inhibitor
and
the
sulphonamide
blocking
sequential
stages
of
bacterial
protein
synthesis,
thereby
having a synergistic antibacterial action.
PHARMACOKINETIC
Sulfachloropyridazine and trimethoprim are rapidly absorbed,
distributed
throughout
the
body
and
eliminated
by
the
kidneys.
INDICATIONS
For
the
treatment
of
sulphonamide
and
trimethoprim
sensitive
enteric
and
respiratory
infections
in
chickens
including E. coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella and Mycoplasma.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE IN ANIMALS
Follow
label
instructions
unless
otherwise
directed
by
veterinary advice. Birds receiving medicated drinking water
should not have access to another water supply during the
treatment period.
Keep medicated drinking water away from animals not under
treatment.
Official,
national
and
regional
antimicrobial
policies should be taken into account when the product is
used.

PERSON
ADMINISTERING THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT TO ANIMALS

Persons handling this product should avoid inhalation
of
any
dust
and
contact
with
skin.
Wear
either
a
disposable
half-mask
respirator
conforming
to
European
Standard
EN149
or
a
non
disposable
respirator to European Standard to EN140 with filter
EN143 when mixing or handling this product.

Rubber gloves should be worn when mixing or handling
this product.
-
Hands and exposed skin should be washed thoroughly
after use.

Sulphonamides
may
cause
hypersensitivity
(allergy)
following injection, inhalation, ingestion or skin contact.
