FOR ANIMAL TREATMENT ONLY
Contains 1mg/mL Abamectin with each 10mL dose containing 10mg Iodine,
5mg
Selenium, 2mg Cobalt, 21mg Copper and 6mg Zinc.
Genesis Hi-Mineral contains abamectin, a member of the macrocyclic
lactones. It
is effective against internal parasites sensitive to this family. For
the treatment
and control of the following mature and immature (*includes inhibited
L4)
roundworms in sheep: _Haemonchus spp*, Ostertagia spp*, Cooperia spp*,
_
_Trichostrongylus spp, Oesophagostomum spp _(adults only),
_Dictyocaulus spp, _
_Nematodirus spp _(adults only).
Resistance can develop to any anthelmintic. Ask your local veterinary
practitioner
or animal health adviser for recommended parasite management practices
for
your area to reduce development of resistance. It is advisable that a
resistance
test be conducted regularly when using any parasite treatment.
IT IS AN OFFENCE FOR USERS OF THIS PRODUCT TO CAUSE RESIDUES EXCEEDING
THE
RELEVANT MRL IN THE FOOD NOTICE: MAXIMUM RESIDUE LEVELS FOR
AGRICULTURAL
COMPOUNDS.
WITHHOLDING PERIODS:
MILK – Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be
discarded during
treatment and for not less than 35 days following the last treatment.
MEAT – Sheep producing meat or offal for human consumption must not
be sold
for slaughter either during treatment or within 14 days of the last
treatment.
STORAGE:
Store below 25
o
C in a cool place with the top secured and away from direct
sunlight.
PRECAUTIONS:
DO NOT USE AT THE SAME TIME AS ANY OTH
