DRONTAL ALLWORMER FOR SMALL DOGS AND PUPPIES
Tablets for the control of Roundworm (Ascarids), Hookworm, Whipworm
and
Tapeworm (including Hydatid and Taenia ovis tapeworms) and for the
control
of the shedding of cysts of the protozoan _Giardia spp. in dogs_
Each tablet contains 75 mg febantel, 43.2 mg pyrantel embonate and 15
mg
praziquantel.

WARNING- Suspected of damaging fertility or the unborn child. May

HANDLING- Do not handle unless all safety precautions are understood.
Do not generate or
inhale dust. Wash hands thoroughly after handling and before eating.

TREATMENT PROGRAMMES FOR WORMS
ROUNDWORMS: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina
HOOKWORMS: Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala
WHIPWORM: Trichuris vulpis
TAPEWORMS: Taenia species, Echinococcus granulosus, Dipylidium caninum
PUPPIES: Puppies should be treated every 2 weeks from the age of two
to
twelve weeks, then monthly until 6 months of age.
ADULT DOGS: (ABOVE 6 MONTHS OF AGE) SHOULD be dewormed every 3
months. Dogs heavily infested with roundworms, hookworms or whipworms
may require retreatment after 14 days. Where tapeworm control only is
required, for example where flea tapeworm segments keep reappearing
2-3
weeks after treatment due to reinfestation, or where Taenia ovis
control is
required, use DRONCIT A2919 between DRONTAL treatments.
TREATMENT PROGRAMMES FOR GIARDIA
GIARDIA INFESTATION: Treat for three consecutive days at recommended
dose.
