WHAT
AXCEL
GLUCOSATIN
TABLET
IS
USED FOR
Axcel Glucosatin Tablet is used as
adjunctive therapy for osteoarthritis
(joint disease).
HOW
AXCEL
GLUCOSATIN
TABLET
WORKS
Glucosamine
is
involved
in
the
production of cartilage tissue in the
body.
Glucosamine
also
present
in
tendons and ligaments. Glucosamine
and
its
salts
have
therefore
been
advocated
in
the
treatment
of
rheumatic disorders that affect your
joints
and
muscles
including
osteoarthritis. Glucosamine also acts
to improve the viscosity of synovial
fluid by increasing synovial fluid (the
fluid around the joints) production,
thereby providing lubricant activity.
Chondroitin
sulphate
helps
to
maintain
the
structural
integrity
of
cartilage
tissue.
It
is
also
prevent
cartilage breaking down.
Glucosamine
and
chondroitin
combination
helps
to
protect
joint
cartilage from damage, reduces joint
pain and improves joint function and
movement.

Do not take Axcel Glucosatin Tablet
if:
•
You are allergy or hypersensitive
to
glucosamine,
chondroitin
or
components in the product.
•
You
are
allergic
to
shellfish
(seafood).
•
You are pregnant, trying to get
pregnant or think you may be
pregnant.
•
You
are
breast-feeding.
Ask
your
doctor
or
pharmacist
for
advice
before
taking
any
medicine.
This
product
should
only
be
used
if
the
potential
benefit to the mother justifies the
potential risk to the fetus.
