The AcQCross Qx Integrated Transseptal Dilator/Needle combines the vessel dilator and transseptal needle into a single component, the lumen accepts guidewire, the lumen is accessed via a Luer connector at the proximal end of the handle. The needle is advanced via a slider on the handle. Adaptor cable may be fitted to enable Electrogram and/or the use of radiofrequency to facilitate the septal puncture. The distal end of the handle is designed to connect with compatible introducers. The AcQCross Qx Integrated Transseptal Dilator/Needle is indicated to puncture the interatrial septum to gain access to the left side of the heart whereby various cardiovascular catheters are introduced.
