Terapevtske indikacije:

The Cannula consists of a stainless-steel tube with diameter that fits non-shielded and shielded electrodes, mainly supplied with stylets, which are used during insertion of the cannulas. The Stylet round shape tip is designed to minimize damage to the tissue while inserting the cannula. The cannula is used by the neurosurgeon to guide the NeuroProbes. After positioning the NeuroProbe, the Cannula may be used by the neurosurgeon to guide the DBS electrode. Sterile Cannulas for MER are intended for guiding the NeuroProbes in neurosurgery for temporary stimulation of, or recording electrical signals of a small area in the brain.
