WHAT IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
The active substance of belongs to the group called
anticholinergics. These
medicines are used to reduce the activity of an overactive bladder.
This enables you to wait longer
before having to go to the bathroom and increases the amount of urine
that can be held by your
bladder.
is used to treat the symptoms of a condition called
overactive bladder. These
symptoms include: having a strong, sudden urge to urinate without
prior warning, having to urinate
frequently or wetting yourself because you could not get to the
bathroom in time.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU TAKE

if you have inability to pass water or to empty your bladder
completely (urinary
retention).

if you have a severe stomach or bowel condition (including toxic
megacolon, a complication
associated with ulcerative colitis).

if you suffer from the muscle disease called myasthenia gravis, which
can cause an extreme
weakness of certain muscles.

Varje Solifenacin Medical Valley 5 mg filmdragerad tablett innehåller
5 mg solifenacinsuccinat, vilket
motsvarar 3,8 mg solifenacin.
Varje Solifenacin Medical Valley 10 mg filmdragerad tablett
innehåller 10 mg solifenacinsuccinat, vilket
motsvarar 7,5 mg solifenacin
Hjälpämne(n) med känd effekt
Laktosmonohydrat 109,0 mg i styrkan 5 mg och 104,0 mg i styrkan 10 mg.

LÄKEMEDELSFORM
Filmdragerad tablett.
Varje 5 mg tablett är en rund, ljusgul tablett, cirka 8 mm lång,
märkt med ”390” på ena sidan.
Varje 10 mg tablett är en rund, ljusrosa tablett, cirka 8 mm lång,
märkt med ”391” på ena sidan.

KLINISKA UPPGIFTER
4.1
TERAPEUTISKA INDIKATIONER
Solifenacin Medical Valley är avsett för vuxna, för symtomatisk
behandling av trängningsinkontinens
(urge-inkontinens) och/eller ökad urineringsfrekvens och
urinträngningar som kan förekomma hos
patienter med överaktiv blåsa.
4.2
DOSERING OCH ADMINISTRERINGSSÄTT
Dosering
Rekommenderad dosering är 5 mg solifenacinsuccinat en gång dagligen.
Doseringen kan vid behov ökas
till 10 mg solifenacinsuccinat en gång dagligen. Kan tas med eller
utan föda.
Särskilda populationer
_Äldre_
Ingen dosjustering krävs för äldre.
_Patienter med nedsatt njurfunktion_
Dosjustering är inte nödvändig för patienter med lätt till
måttligt nedsatt njurfunktion (kreatininclearance
>30 ml/min). Patienter med kraftigt nedsatt njurfunktion
(kreatininclearance <30 ml/min) ska behandlas
med försiktighet och dosen får inte överskrida 5 mg en gång
dagligen (se avsnitt 5.2).
_Patienter med nedsatt leverfunktion_
Dosjustering är inte nödvändig för patienter med lätt nedsatt
leverfunktion. Patienter med måttligt nedsatt
leverfunktion (Child-Pugh score 7 till 9) ska behandlas med
försiktighet och g
