Symptomatic treatment of perennial
(occurs year-round)and seasonal
allergic rhinitis, vasomotor
rhinitis(refers to a condition in which
the nose is stuffy or runny for reasons
other than allergies or infections)and
allergic conjunctivitis due to inhalant
allergens and foods.
•
Symptomatic treatment of pruritus(is a
sensation that causes the desire or
reflex to scratch) associated with
allergic reactions and of mild,
uncomplicated allergic skin
manifestation of urticaria (is a kind of
skin rash notable for pale red, raised,
itchy bumps) and angioedema(is
swelling that is similar to hives, but the
swelling is under the skin instead of on
the surface) and in dermatographism(is
a skin disorder characterized by the
skin becoming raised and inflamed
(hive-like) when stroked or rubbed with
a dull object).

May be used in combination with a
decongestant (Pseudoephedrine) for the
temporary relief of nasal and sinus
congestion associated with the common
cold and allergic rhinitis.
HOW SENSITAMINE TABLET WORKS
Chlorpheniramine works by preventing the
actions of histamine. Histamine is a
substance produced by the body as part of its
defence mechanisms. Chlorpheniramine
works by blocking histamine H1 receptors.
This in turn prevents the release of other
allergy chemicals and provides relief from
the typical s
