General Instructions:
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Relzar® is a foliar herbicide for post-emergence use in turf. It will
not control weeds that
emerge after treatment. Best results are achieved when herbicide
application is made
under conditions which favour rapid plant growth. Complete weed death
can take up to 8
weeks. Faster results are likely with smaller, actively growing weeds.
Weed control may be
reduced when the soil remains moist for an extended period following
application.
Only one application of Relzar® should be made per year.
WEED DENSITY:
Control may be reduced where weed density is very high and limits
spray coverage.
WEED GROWTH STAGE:
Best results are usually achieved when applied to small weeds that
have not been mown.
APPLICATION
• Ensure that boom height for broadcast application does not exceed
50 cm above the leaf
blades of the turf.
• Apply at a volume of 400 to 800 L water/ha. High water volumes
should be used for
severe weed infestations and turf cut at more than 15 mm height.
• Thorough and even spray coverage will result in more consistent
control.
• Ensure the boom sprayer is calibrated correctly before use. Use
spray nozzles that
produce a COARSE spray quality. Nozzles should be evenly spaced and of
the same
type to ensure accurate and even
