Date of Revision What Procosa TM II is used for Procosa TM II is used as an additional treatment for osteoarthritis (a condition where the cartilage that cushions the ends of bones in the joints deteriorates over time). How Procosa TM II works Procosa TM II contains glucosamine. Glucosamine functions within the body to promote and maintain the structure and function of cartilage in bone joints. Glucosamine stimulates the production of key structural components of joint cartilage, and is a fundamental component of articular cartilage that provides cartilage its shock absorbing properties. Before using Procosa TM II - When you must not use it Do NOT use if you are allergic to glucosamine and other ingredients listed at the end of the leaflet Do NOT use if you are allergic to shellfish/seafood Children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers should avoid using glucosamine. - Before consuming Procosa TM II Tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems, especially diabetes (blood sugars should be carefully monitored). - Taking other medications Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medications, especially medications to control your blood sugar in diabetes. This includes any medications that you buy without a prescription from a pharmacy, supermarket, or health food shop. How to use Procosa TM II - How much to use Take one (1) tablet three (3) times per day - When to use it Take preferably with meals - How long to use it As advised by your doctor and pharmacist - If you forget to use it Take missed dose as soon as you remember.
