EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine shows central and peripheral antiemetic actions, and
regulates gastrointestinal
motility.
It is usually used to treat gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea
and vomiting associated
with gastrointestinal diseases, and for acceleration of the intestinal
passage of barium during
an X-ray examination.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have suspected pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma.
If you have gastrointestinal bleeding/perforation or organic
obstruction.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)

・In general, for adults, take 10 to 30 mL (10 to 30 mg of
metoclopramide hydrochloride), for
children, take 0.5 to 0.7 mL per kg of the body weight (mL/kg) [0.5 to
0.7 mg/kg] a day in 2
to 3 divided doses, before meals. The dosage may be adjusted according
to the age and
symptom
