Pharmacor Sitagliptin film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient sitagliptin hydrochloride. Pharmacor Sitagliptin is used to lower blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to Pharmacor Sitagliptin or any of the ingredients listed at the end of the CMI. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION Each Pharmacor Sitagliptin contains sitagliptin hydrochloride. The reference product contains sitagliptin phosphate monohydrate. All clinical data in this product information (including pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and clinical trial data) are based on the reference product. Bioequivalence with respect to sitagliptin has been established between the two salt forms. Each film-coated tablet of Pharmacor Sitagliptin contains 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg of sitagliptin (as hydrochloride). For the full list of excipients, see Section 6.1 List of excipients 3. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM Pharmacor Sitagliptin 25 mg are pink, round, biconvex film-coated tablets, debossed with “S 25” on one side and plain on other side. Pharmacor Sitagliptin 50 mg are light beige, round, biconvex film-coated tablets, debossed with “S 50” on one side and plain on other side.
