Date of revision What Junior Protemp Suppositories 325mg is used for Indicated for the temporary relief of fever, minor aches, pains and headaches. How Junior Protemp Suppositories 325mg works Paracetamol may acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system (CNS) and through a peripheral action by blocking pain-impulse generation. It also produce antipyretic effect by acting centrally on the hypothalamic heat regulating center to produce peripheral vasolidation resulting in increased blood flow through the skin and sweating and heat loss. Before you use Junior Protemp Suppositories 325mg - When you must not use it Do not use Junior Protemp Suppositories 325mg to people with known hypersensitivity to Paracetamol and severe hepatic disease. Pregnancy and lactation Paracetamol crosses the placenta and distributes into breast milk. Ask your doctor or pharmacists for advice before taking Junior Protemp Suppositories 325mg. - Before you start to use it Tell your doctor if you are patient of renal or with hepatic disease. Taking other medicines • Patient who has taken barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressant and alcohol may risk of hepatotoxicity with prolonged use of high dose of Paracetamol because of increased metabolism resulting from induction of hepatic microsomal enzyme activity. • Alcohol and hepatotoxic medication can increase the hepatotoxicity of Paracetamol overdose. • Concurrent use anticoagulant, coumarin or indandione-derivative with chronic, high dose of Paracetamol may i Preberite celoten dokument
