PRECAUTIONS
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid skin contact. Wash hands and
exposed skin after handling. Do NOT eat,
drink or smoke when using this product. Do NOT lay baits in places
accessible to children, pets, birds or
other animals. Do NOT place baits in bush areas where stock or feral
animals have access to baits. Do NOT
contaminate water bodies or drains with baits or packaging.
PERSONAL PROTECTION
Always wear gloves when handling the blocks.
FIRST AID
If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.
If swallowed: Do NOT induce vomiting. For advice, call the Poisons
Centre on 0800 POISON (0800 764 766),
or a Doctor immediately.
If on skin: wash with plenty of soap and water.
NOTE TO DOCTORS AND VETERINARIANS
Brodifacoum is a long lasting anticoagulant compound, which if
ingested by humans, domestic animals or
pets, can reduce the clotting ability of the blood, and haemorrhage
may result. Vitamin K1
(phytomenadione) should be administered urgently by medical,
appropriate paramedical personnel or
veterinarians. If administered intravenously, the injection must be
given slowly.
