Terapevtske indikacije:

The seeds are placed in the tumor and the tumor then is exposed to gamma radiation from the seeds. This gamma radiation destroys the tumor cells by damaging the cell nucleus and other cell proteins and contents, preventing the cells from reproduction. The damaged cells cannot survive with the modified chromosomes and damaged proteins. The main intended use is the treatment of prostate cancer tumors. The I-125 Advantage Brachytherapy Seeds are indicated for the treatment of selected localized tumours. The main intended use is the treatment of prostate cancer tumours.
