Terramycin Wound Spray is indicated for the prevention and treatment of topical infections sensitive to oxytetracycline, e.g. lacerations and abrasions, wound dehiscence, dermatitis and footrot. Terramycin Wound Spray is suitable for use in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, dogs and cats.

WARNINGS
Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons and
animals. Wash hands after use.
Do not spray in or near the eyes.
No withdrawal period for meat or milk intended for human
consumption. Although this remedy has been extensively
tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may
ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is
suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration
holder.

MODE OF ACTION
Oxytetracycline
is
a
product
of
the
metabolism
of
_Streptomyces rimosus _
and is one of the family of tetracycline
antibiotics. Oxytetracycline is primarily bacteriostatic and is
thought
to
exert
its
antimicrobial
effect
by
inhibition
of
protein synthesis. It is active against a wide range of gram-
negative and gram-positive organisms.

prevention
and
treatment
of
topical
infections
sensitive to oxytetracycline e.g. lacerations, abrasions, wound
dehiscence,
dermatitis,

in

sheep,
