HOW
TO USE:
DO
NOT place baits out
in
the open.
DO
NOT exceed 3m between bait stations for mice and
9m for rats. Place baits where there are signs
of
rodent activity, along walls
or
rafters and
in
dark, sheltered
places. Use 1 wax block at 1 or more locations for mice and 2 to 4 wax
blocks at 1 or 2 locations for rats.
BAITING STRATEGY FOR EFFECTIVE CONTROL: Eliminate
as
far as practical, all alternative food
sources. Bait should not be touched as this deters rats and mice from
eating
it.
Bait infested area. Record
the number of and location of wax blocks for later replenishment and
or removal. Inspect baits daily.
Replace eaten baits. Continue observation and replenishment until no
more baits are taken. Ensure baits
are removed when rodent activity has ceased. Most deaths occur 4 to 7
days after consumption of bait.
Baiting for at least 2 weeks will
be
necessary to reduce rat/mouse numbers. One feed is sufficient to kill
rats
and mice. Rats and mice will continue to eat the bait after a lethal
dose has been eaten. Pestmaster Rat and
Mouse Killer Wax Blocks will control species resistant to warfarin and
bromadiolone. The wax block
formulation allows baiting
in
damp as well as dry locations.
