The NexGen Augmentation Patella consists of a polyethylene patella and an augmentation base made from trabecular metal with a titanium alloy suture ring for additional fixation to the patellar tendon and remaining bone stock. Both these components have an oval geometry and are indicated for cemented and cementless use. The NexGen Augmentation patella is indicated for use in procedures involving: - Revision total knee arthroplasty with inadequate patellar bone stock for standard patellar revision - Patellar fracture after total knee arthroplasty.
