WAT IS MULTIBIC 2 MMOL/L KALIUM EN WAARVOOR WORDT DIT MIDDEL GEBRUIKT?
multiBic 2 mmol/l kalium is een oplossing die gebruikt wordt bij
continue vervanging van de nierfunctie om
afvalproducten uit het lichaam van nierpatiënten te verwijderen. Het
wordt gebruikt bij patiënten met een
nierbeschadiging en ook voor de behandeling van vergiftiging. Het type
oplossing dat u wordt toegediend is
afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid kalium (een zout) in uw bloed. Uw arts
zal het kaliumgehalte regelmatig
controleren.

WANNEER MAG U DIT MIDDEL NIET GEBRUIKEN OF MOET U ER EXTRA VOORZICHTIG
MEE ZIJN?
GEBRUIK GEEN MULTIBIC 2 MMOL/L KALIUM ALS:

U bent allergisch voor een van de stoffen in dit geneesmiddel. Deze
stoffen kunt u vinden in rubriek 6.

Als u lijdt aan hypokaliëmie (te weinig kalium in het bloed).

Als u lijdt aan metabole alkalose (te veel bicarbonaat in het bloed).

Als er vanuit uw bloedsomloop onvoldoende bloed stroomt naar het
hemofilter.

Als u een verhoogd risico hebt op bloedingen omdat u
antistollingsmiddelen gebruikt om stolling van
het bloed in het hemofilter te voorkomen.
