GIVEN IN PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK, WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND
ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER STATEMENTS ON THIS LABEL MUST BE FOLLOWED.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
• This product is a water dispersible formulation that mixes readily
in water. It is
an effective foliar contact and soil residual herbicide.
• For
best
residual
control,
apply
during
periods
of
active
plant
growth.
Application when vegetation is dormant, semi-dormant, under moisture
stress
or during winter months may not be as effective.
• In temperate winter rainfall areas where temperatures are
generally below 25°C
during the period of active growth, overall effect may be slow to
appear. For best
control of perennials, apply during the months of spring in these
areas. In WA
and SA apply only during April-August when adequate rainfall is
expected.
• Sufficient moisture is required after treatment to promote root
absorption by the
weed species.
• Results obtained may vary with rainfall, soil types and other
conditions.
• DO NOT apply Forest Mix Flexi-Mix Herbicide during periods of
intense rainfall
or under conditions which will cause drift or movement to non-target
areas.
•
On slopes exceeding 30% DO NOT broadcast apply this product where
there is
no vegetation or slash, or on uncultivated or non-mounded or on bare
ground.
• Poor performance may result when applied to soils with high carbon
content.
LOADING, APPLICATION AND EQUIPMENT
Macspred Forest Mix Flexi-Mix Herbicide is a wettable formulation. The
product
is mixed with water and applied at the recommended rates by ground or
aerial
application (see directions for use table).
The product is contained in a 2 ha bulk bag. It is important that
these bags are
used entirely. It is not recommended that part bags be kept.
Partially fill the spray tank with water and add the appropriate
number of bulk
bags (these are in pre-measured 2 hectare doses). With the agitation

Restraints - DO NOT use on leached sandy soils, low in organic matter.
DO NOT apply to waterlogged soil.
DO NOT apply if heavy rains or storms that are likely to cause run-off
are forecast
within 2 days of application.
DO NOT irrigate to the point of run-off for at least 2 days after
application.
DO NOT apply product to any drainage line. Drainage lines show
evidence of the
action of periodically flowing water (for example, gravel, pebble,
rock and sand bed,
scour hole or nick point) and/or an incised channel at least 30 cm
deep.
DO NOT handle, mix, apply or conduct testing operations in areas
susceptible to run-
off where drainage results in rapid entry into waterways. These areas
include roads,
access tracks, snig tracks and compacted log dumps where no specific
action has
been taken to prevent run-off into waterways, or areas mounded
perpendicular to the
contour, roads, access tracks, snig tracks and compacted log dumps.
