WHAT GLYPRIN IS USED FOR
Glyprin
is
usually
used
in
patients with unstable angina,
in
patients
who
have
had
a
heart attack and in patients at
risk of a stroke.
HOW GLYPRIN WORKS
Aspirin
helps
to
prevent
the
blood from clotting.
This effect is used to reduce
the
risk
of
heart
attack
or
stroke or other problems that
may occur when a blood vessel
is blocked by blood clots.
Ask your doctor if you have
any questions about why this
medicine has been prescribed
for you. Your doctor may have
prescribed
it
for
another
reason.
BEFORE YOU USE GLYPRIN

_When you must not use it _
• Do not use this medicine if
you are allergic to aspirin.
• Inform
your
doctor
if
you
have ever had an ulcer in the
stomach
or
intestine,
have
any conditions that increases
your risk of bleeding.
• Do not use this medicine if
you
are
taking
other
medicines
to
prevent
blood
clots or gastric irritants.
• Do not use this medicine if
you are pregnant or breast-
feeding.
•
Do
not
use
aspirin
in
children or teenagers unless
directed
to
do
so
by
your
doctor.
Do not take it after the expiry
date printed on the pack.
If you take it after the expiry
date
has
passed,
it
may
not
work as well.
Do not take it if the packaging
is
torn
or
shows
signs
of
tampering.
If you are not sure whether you
should
start
taking
this
medicine, talk to your doctor or
pharmacist.
