Claims:
For treatment of organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline in horses,
cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs
and cats.
Indiscriminate use of Elevet+ Oxytetracycline 100 mg/mL Injection may
contribute to the
development of antibiotic resistance.

Directions for Use:
Restraints:
DO NOT exceed 25 mL injection site volume (cattle),
DO NOT exceed 10 mL injection site volume (pigs and sheep).
Re-treatment interval LONG ACTING DOSE: DO NOT re-treat animals for 2
days after last
treatment.
Contraindications:
This product is contraindicated in horses during concomitant therapy
with corticosteroids.
Precautions:
Use this product with caution during the period of tooth development,
including late
pregnancy as it may lead to tooth discolouration.
Side Effects:
Use of this product may cause anaphylaxis in cattle. Prompt treatment
with adrenaline or
antihistamine is indicated. RLP APPROVED
Dosage and
Administration:
24 HOURS DOSAGE REGIMEN - give once daily by injection by the route
recommended
for the species as per the dosing table on the product leaflet.
LONG ACTING DOSAGE REGIMEN (cattle, sheep and pigs only) – give by
intramuscular
injection in the neck only, repeat after 2 days, if required.

General Directions:
Elevet+ Oxytetracycline 100 mg/mL injection has been formulated to
minimize pain on
injection without the need for the addition of a local anaesthetic.
The virtual absence of
irritation also produces minimal residue and inflammation at the
injection site.
