This device is an attendant driven manual wheeled chair designed to be stored folded and when deployed can be used to transport a person in a sitting position. The device also has a stair descending mechanism that is operated by the attendant. It has at least 2 braking mechanisms, one of which can be used to stop the device when on stairs. It has a fold away foot support to enable safe loading and unloading of the patient.
