USED FOR

an
antiseptic
bath/
shower
before
undergoing surgery. This product is
also suitable to be used as shampoo.
HOW

WORKS
_SURGIBATH _
_4% _
has
antibacterial
properties. It is effective against a
wide range of bacteria, some viruses
and some fungi.

Do not use
_SURGIBATH 4% _
if you are
allergic
(hypersensitive)
to
Chlorhexidine Gluconate or to any
of the other ingredients listed in the
Product Description section.
Do not use for spinal tap procedure.

_Before you start use it_

Tell your healthcare provider if you
have
head,
spinal
injuries
or
perforated ear drum. Chlorhexidine
has
been
known
to
cause
loss
in
hearing or deafness when instilled in
the
middle
ear
through
perforated
ear drums.

_Taking other products_

Conditioners
and
other
hair
care
products
should
not
be
used
after
performing
preoperative
shampoos
because a chemical reaction between
chlorhexidine
and
the
hair
care
products may impede the antiseptic
effectiveness of the chlorhexidine.
