Преди химиотерапията трябва да бъдат включени най-малко антрациклина и таксана, ако пациентите не са подходящи за тези процедури. Началото на майчиното cancerherceptin е показан за лечение на пациенти с her2-положителни ранен рак на млечната жлеза след операция, химиотерапия (неоадъювантной или помощните) и лъчетерапия (ако е приложимо);след помощните химиотерапия с доксорубицином и циклофосфамидом, в съчетание с паклитакселом или доцетакселом, в съчетание с помощните химиотерапия, състояща се от доцетаксела и карбоплатина, в съчетание с неоадъювантной химиотерапия последвана от помощните терапия Герцептин, за локално-разпространена (включително възпалително заболяване или на тумора >2 cm в диаметър. Герцептин трябва да се използва само при пациенти с метастазирал или ранен рак на млечната жлеза, тумор които или her2 и гиперэкспрессии или усилване на гена her2, как се определя точно и доказана анализи. Метастатические cancerherceptin на стомаха в комбинация с Капецитабин или 5-фторурацил и цисплатин е показан за лечение на пациенти с her2-положителни метастатичен рак на стомаха или пищеводно-чревния на прехода, които не са получили до противоопухолевого лечение на метастатичен болест.
